Black Box Presents - The Disgruntled Clown

When you are over 6-foot-tall and dress up in a black-and-white clown costume, you're OK with not fitting in. The idea of a clown who is not so cheerful away from circuses and birthday parties has appeared in many TV shows and movies, and The Disgruntled Clown uses this visual to complete his comedy persona. He has become an underground hit in the club circuit, not just because of his appearance, but also because of the stories he tells with deadpan delivery.

Check out his MySpace Comedy page for clips and interviews (Warning: NSFW), and then come to the Black Box this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. for this one-of-a-kind personality.

Black Box Presents - Frankie Paul

This week’s comedian for the Groucho's Comedy at the Sunrise Black Box series is the brutally honest Frankie Paul. Paul moved from New York City to Melbourne, Florida early in his life, where he lives to this day. As he says on his website’s biography, "Big cities are blast to visit, but I prefer to live in a small town."
