Sunrise Theatre Presents - The United States Navy Band Cruisers

The United States Navy Band is dedicated to serving American music. While there are the famous ceremonial and concert bands, this military branch also has specialized units for different genres. The Commodores represent the Navy’s elite jazz ensemble. The Sea Chanters is the branch's premier choir. Country Current is the unit of choice for country and bluegrass songs.

This Thursday at 7:00 p.m. the Sunrise Theatre plays host to the Cruisers, a multi-genre band with experience in jazz, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary, and pop. It’s song repertoire ranges from old standards to Miley Cyrus.

The cost of tickets? Free. Just come to the box office and enjoy a concert at the Sunrise. Click here for more information.

Black Box Presents - Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society's Jazz Jams

The exposed wall on the side of the Black Box dates back to the 1920s, and every Tuesday this May the theatre will be filled with the music of that era as well. That's because the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society will be hosting jam sessions at our theatre this month. These professionals will play classic tracks as well as show off their talent through improvisation. And if you know something about jazz yourself, you're welcome to bring your instrument and sit in with the band. The offer extends to singers too.

The sessions go from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with drinks and snacks available for purchase. Cover charge is $5.
